Privacy notice
How Anient Ltd handles personal data on this website. Last updated: [date of sign-off].
Who we are
Anient Ltd is the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy on 01752 686571 or through the contact form.
What this website collects
The website itself does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it does not load fonts or other resources from third parties.
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message, and your company and phone number if you give them. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and to any follow-up conversation.
How the contact form works
- Your message is processed by a function hosted in Microsoft Azure in the West Europe region and emailed to our Microsoft 365 mailbox. The website does not store it anywhere else.
- To stop automated spam, the contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile processes technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics to check that you are not a bot. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this check.
Lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries sent to us. Where your enquiry leads to a contract, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries in our mailbox for up to two years after our last contact, unless they become part of a client engagement, in which case our engagement records policy applies.
Who we share it with
Microsoft (email and hosting) and Cloudflare (spam protection) process data on our behalf under their data processing terms. Data may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to our processing, or ask us to restrict it. Contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
